I’m not having much luck searching for how to localise long strings in an iOS app. Swift has multi-line string literals that would be perfect but the format used in
.strings files doesn’t support them. Is there no standard solution for this?

I wrote earlier this week about a Finder quick action for creating a blank text file. You can export those but I didn’t know if anyone else would be able to use it without it being code signed so in lieu of that, here’s a screenshot of the steps in case anyone else is interested.

I finally got my ‘Create Blank Text File’ quick action for the Finder working the way I want. I can invoke it regardless of the item type selected, it will create the file in the current directory and make the file the selected item.
