Here’s what it looks like at the moment.

I’ve got a rudimentary login form that now leads you into the timeline. Yay!

I wish you could permanently disable the Kindle’s USB Drive Mode. I never use it and it turns on whenever I plug the device into a USB hub (even if the hub isn’t connected to a computer). The only way to exit the mode is to hard reset the device.

I’ve been convinced for the past ten minutes that the element xenon was called xeon.

I’m always both amazed and disappointed at how slow I am at programming. I’ve spent at least 10 hours working on this React app and have surprisingly little to show for it. I’m still having a blast but a 10x programmer I am not.

I have the very beginnings of a React app for Micro.blog. It’s written with Reagent in ClojureScript.

I’ve noticed a strange bug with Mail on iOS 13.2. If I move a message to an IMAP mailbox (e.g. a Gmail label) and then delete a message (not archiving), both the first and second messages are marked as deleted.

There are other albums that better represent the end of the 90s but Björk’s Homogenic will always be how I remember that time.

After being underwhelmed by For All Mankind and The Mandalorian, I decided why not just pay the group making the shows I want to watch? And so now I’m subscribed to HBO Now.

The hyper-aggressive flushing of apps from memory in iOS 13.2 is really starting to grate on me.

Notepad++‘s developer posted about China’s Uyghurs and in response pro-China users have commenced a harassment campaign on the project’s GitHub repo. I don’t use Notepad++ but this is appalling. In response, I’ve donated $50 here.

Prediction: Boris Johnson will successfully get his Brexit plan through Parliament with the help of Labour MPs. I’ll analyse the prediction after the vote and see why I was right/wrong.

I don’t know whether this is real but Wi-Fi performance on my iPhone has been terrible since updating to iOS 13. Frequently it just can’t seem to transfer any data.
