I spoke too soon about iOS not bugging you every time you add something from a third-party app to Safari’s Reading List. It was just failing silently in NetNewsWire.
Doth my eyes deceive me? Does adding items to Safari’s Reading List from a third-party app no longer prompt you to confirm every time in iOS 18?
When I open a tab in Safari 18, type in a URL and hit Return, focus remains in the location bar and the URL is selected. This behaviour doesn’t happen if I do the same from an existing tab. It’s making visiting search engines quite frustrating.
Today I learnt from John Gruber’s iPhones 16 review that if you press and hold on the on-screen shutter button when taking a photo in the Camera app, it will start recording a video instead.
