It’s only been a week or so but I don’t like the way notifications work in iOS 16. I wish there was a way to have notifications always display rather than hidden at the bottom of the Lock Screen.
I’m having a very difficult time getting into a competitive 3v3 Rocket League game. My last four games have been cancelled because there weren’t enough people. Am worried this doesn’t bode well for the health of the player base.
Nothing in the MCU has disappointed me as much as the Spider-Man films. Tom Holland is perfect and Batalon, Zendaya and the rest of the cast infuse the films with a humour that is such an important part of the comics. Such a shame the MCU baggage is shackled to it like an anchor.

I have to say I really dislike the way notifications in iOS 16. I haven’t seen many complaints about it so I assume I just have an incredibly idiosyncratic way of managing my notifications.

I swear, next year I’m going to get a phone set up properly with my Japanese Apple ID so I can order through the Apple Store app. The website was a disaster.
I wish more blogs (and especially Substack) would put publishing dates in URLs. It’s helpful to be able to tell without visiting a page whether a post that’s being linked is from a week, a month, a year or a decade ago.
