I pray I raise my children to be like this.
I wanted to contact Anthony Grimes to let him know his blog had been compromised by spammers but then discovered he died in 2016 :( Not a great way to start a holiday Monday.
I’ve started working on Pondent, an editor written in ClojureScript that updates Jekyll posts in a GitHub repo. Still a lot to do but I have a character counter that ignores common Markdown characters (e.g. **

Is there any way to cause the media controls in Tweetbot to appear when playing a video? If I touch the screen, the video completely stops and I have to start it from the beginning.
I don’t know why but I really like the word ‘cutover’.
I finished (what is hopefully) season 1 of Miss Sherlock last night and really loved it. I’ve enjoyed spending this morning reading about the references to Doyle’s stories I’d missed. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes Sherlock Holmes.
I finally finished This Is Not a Conspiracy Theory. I’m not sure exactly why it took as long to make as it did but I’m glad Ferguson was able to get it done.
Pretty stoked that the pause control in Overcast that shows the audio level has returned in the latest beta.

I overheard some girls who couldn’t have been older than 12 talk about Instagram and had one of those moments where you feel yourself getting older in real time.
The Internet at its best: Radiohead’s Ed O’Brien teaches you how to play ‘Creep’.
I made an attempt to analyse certain assumptions in Ben Thompson’s argument about competition regulation.
I’d listen to a podcast that is just the Pod Save America guys reading ads.
My insanely talented friend Julie Koh has written a satirical opera (!) entitled Chop Chef. If you’re in Sydney, you can see it this June!
It’s crazy that Jekyll doesn’t offer category archives out of the box.
