Happy Children’s Day! Alas, now at the end of Golden Week.

I’m typing this on my laptop supercomputer that is connected to the Internet through my pocket supercomputer while I ride a superfast train travelling more than 200 km/h. The future is sometimes pretty cool.

Very glad that Sunlit now allows you to set a different MB-hosted blog for your photo posting. I really think MB needs better photo-centric themes, though, and I’m not convinced the teeny tiny thumbnail worm is the right way to display/hint at a gallery. /cc @manton, @cheesemaker

Disappointed I forgot to check-in to the place I had lunch today. With the travel for Golden Week, this might finally be my week to top the leaderboard.

It’s been two days since I checked genius.com and I’m still disappointed that Camila Cabello isn’t singing that he’s got Milo in him.

I wish I’d brought that bottle I was thinking about this morning. I don’t really feel like sitting around here but this yuzu tea thing is too nice to throw away.

Dear iOS Predictive Text, nobody means to write ‘st least’. Feel free to change that ‘st’ into ‘at’ whenever you like.

I can’t find anyone else with this problem but I switched my router’s DNS over to 1.1.1.1 and it seems to have broken Bonjour/mDNS local name resolution.

I have the Westworld theme stuck in my head and I can’t get it out.

That thing where people talk to their phone by holding it up to their mouth like a taco.

One episode of Westworld down and, while it was to be expected, I miss Hopkins deeply. The current cast is fine but nobody else has that kind of electricity.

I would also suggest that if you’re not following @kimonostereo already, you should. Unlike me, he does actually post photos of where he lives and since he lives in Hawaii (in Hawaii!), they’re typically gorgeous.

Joel Breckinridge Bassett has been documenting Suica error flicker on the iPhone X. I don’t plan to upgrade this cycle but this makes me worried when I eventually do. Hopefully it’s fixed by then but it’s not confidence inspiring how long this problem has been outstanding.
