I bought a 2021 iPad Magic Keyboard from Craigslist and the pointer behaviour in iPadOS is one of the most delightful user interactions I’ve used in some time.

I hope the influx of users to Bluesky encourages the Signal people to greatly improve the way Bluesky messages are ‘unfurled’ (I tried to get them to care earlier but to no avail).

I’ll need to set a time limit for when I open the Bluesky app.

Spotlight has become really slow in the most recent versions of iOS and macOS. Certain things that used to happen almost instantly (currency conversions, searching for apps by name) now sometimes take tens of seconds. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Some on social media are arguing that a ‘backlash against the elites’ explanation for the U.S. Presidential Election is incoherent because Republicans are richer and so more elite. I believe it’s too early to pontificate but I want to note the backlash argument is about values.
