I’ve just started watching Vanilla Sky and it’s grossly under-discussed that it basically begins with ‘Everything in its Right Place’. The cognitive dissonance of Tom Cruise and Radiohead occupying the same cinematic moment is really throwing me.
Tessa Violet’s MY GOD! is one of my favourite albums of 2023.
I just found out one of Michael Lewis’s children died back in 2021 when she was only 19. I’m analysing my own response to this and, in particular, recognising how odd it is that my first reaction is surprise that he didn’t mention it on his podcast.
I become unreasonably angry doing the New York Times crossword.
Apple Mail’s guesses at categorising my e-mail seem to be getting worse over time.
Being sick sucks.
The animated expressions of my Memoji on the macOS login screen are delightful.
I’d never heard of Minimalist: Password Manager until last night but am really liking it so far. It’s basically a modern version of 1Password 6 (i.e. no shared vaults and data is synced via iCloud but native app and supports new APIs like OS-wide autofill).

The first apps I downloaded from the App Store.
It took me an embarrassingly large amount of work but I finally implemented the MD5 algorithm in Digestive, my new Janet library!

Just lost my first Wordle in 294 games :(
